We Are Horses
We Are Horses is a four week poetry bender inspired by Joy Harjo’s collection she had some horses in the Year of the Fire Horse. This is a season for momentum, shine, and forward motion. Over the month of March, we move with intention, instinct, and in conversation with the horses. The work is micro and manageable: expect short bursts of writing, tight revision windows, and achievable goals. It is a glitter kicking, mane braiding, gathering of women and poets, who are ready to gallop into this new lunar year.
